Project BudBurst

Project Budburst aims to get people outside to make careful observations of the timing of leafing, flowering and fruiting phases of plants throughout the year. Families attending this program will collect information on leaf change progressions and submit their data to an online catalog accessed by scientists and educators throughout the country! All collected data will help develop a local, regional, and national understanding of how plant species are responding to climate change.
